‘09 new years day quietness.

happy [almost] new years.

i am currently sitting on a really comfy couch waiting for DICK CLARKS ROCKIN’ NEW YEARS EVE on tv. in my hotel room. celebrating with a banana and water since we ate everything else. woohoo this year is going to start out GREAT! ><” if we weren’t leaving at 8am in the morning [meaning we have to be at the airport at 7am & waking up at 5am to leave at 545am to drop off our rental car at 6:00am]. now if that WEREN’T HAPENNING then we’d probably we celebrating new years at disneyland. mygod. ohwell. i took two showers today to make up for the lack of a awesome new years. lol.

ohwait. my dad just switched the channel and russell peters is on the tv. AND NEW MATERIAL ! okay new years eve just got SO much better (=

anyways. so i have basically been away from home on a SUPER FANTASTIC TRIP TO….California. lol. and Las Vegas. Neither of which were in the 70s. And to think that I was hoping to get away from the freaking snow to some gorgeous sunshine. There was sun for ike 2 hours and then BOOM, it was fog. what the hell?

went to Universal Studios and practically killed my heart on that Revenge of the Mummy ride. i love rollar coasters. i really do. but the minute i sit my ass down on one, i’m about to cry or puke or scream my head off. even the smallest one.  and no, i dont do upside down rollar coasters. definately not. but it was fun and fun and fun and i took a picture with scooby doo and the hulk! (=

and then we went to vegas and stuff. it was fun too. very good food. amazing attractions and IT REALLY IS GORGEOUS AT NIGHT! we ate and walked around mainly. i pulled a slot machine once and got kicked out. ahaha. i do wish we stayed there longer though.

down in diego, i went on that super carrier ship tour. it was way cool with all those flight simulators and i got to sit in helicopters and jets and check them out on the inside and stuff.

we mainly hung out in orange county for the AMAZING vietnamese food. you CANNOT get that food in Seattle. though all the food i ate ended up being burned off by all the walking i did. gah!

oh i forgot to mention that we spent christmas with the in-laws [my sister's hubands' side], who got me presents surprisingly. it was nice and quiet and we had a good dinner and omgosssh luan’s girlfriend made the most AMAZING german chocolate cheesecake!

and sanfran was fun too! chinatown! gift shop galore! lead-laced toys galore! (jaykay…kinda xP)

well. yea. mostly general stuff since im anxious to head to bed. i’m too tired for anything and my parents just had a huge fight so it’s all shitty and oxygen-draining in this hotel room. *sigh.
