rejuvenated! i am feeling chipper annd happy.

i hate fluorescent lights because they apply this weird pressure on your head and makes everything scary looking O___o” that’s why my room has those nice yellow warm glowing lights. and my heaters running. and im listening to bennie k and m-flo croon about escaping.  and i’m just taking my time to study for amer. govt.

i had a photoshoot today. “photoshoot”. xD it was sooo fun and funny at the same time. central library downtown ! man, getting lost in that library has never been funner (not a word but screw that ^^). many laughs. many jokes. many punches and kicks. it was so awesome. i cannooooooooooooot wait to see the pictures. christmas came early? XD eeeeeee! okay, now im just turning into a squabbling giddy girl. but it was super amazingly fun. i can’t help but giggle.

it was interesting because i was saying today how WE’RE NOT SAFE ANYWHERE. NOT EVEN IN OUR HOUSE. after reading that news article about how a plane crashed into some sandiego homes and killed 3 people. and to think that southcenter mall was already bad (sikes! i would still go there if i could). but yea. WATCH OUT FOR PLANES THAT MIGHT SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTS OVER YOUR HOUSE AND PELT YOU WITH SHARDS OF METAL AND KILL YOU. (= im so morbid.

btw, yknow how Oprah has that annual favorite things for christmas special? and how she gives out hella stuff every year on that special to her audience? well guess what, SHE DIDN’T GIVE ANYTHING THIS YEAR. AHAHHAAH. suckkkkers. though i feel so bad because we all know those woman probably waited 5 years to get tickets for that show and expect something in return. i mean it’s her CHRISTMAS SPECIAL. but she freaking gave away her BOOK CLUB book. ROFL. man, those women probably wanna pelt her with her own books.

its beginning to look a lot like christmas. every where you go..

hm, i think all i want for christmas is so cliche. to walk around downtown at night with all the lights on with my beloved? and maaaaaaybe a bit of snow to make it more cheesier. hehe. but alas, that will never happen until i’m like 24 or something. *sigggggh. a girl can dream still right? but anyways, i wanna check out the lights downtown. apparently there isn’t as much this year though… =( sadness.

two more days of school. then all the college apps i can afford! woohoo! xD then cali. that should be relaxxxxxxxxxxxing. and then. school. but yea, three and half week is def. good.  yaaaay.

happy thanksgivings everyone. i hope you’re going to explode any minute now with you’re filling of mashed potatos and turkey and stuffing. i’m sure not because i celebrated thanksgiving day the vietnamese way.

xD and it was yummy too. so don’t be judging. hey! my brother in iowa was worst. he had HAM. i mean, what the heck. lol. apparently he eats “turkey sandwiches too much” so he’s tired of turkey. haha.

and to think of it. how many million turkeys are freaking killed today. a lot. 300 billion people in the US. so at least, like. 65 million turkeys. and all those pumpkins pies i read about in the PI yesterday. like several million eggs. do they harvest the eggs like the week before? because it’s not like you can keep eggs for months and months…can you? o__o” mannnnn i really craving pumpkie pie. aggggh.

that’s the gist of it. anything else is pretty like, unimportant, so yea. well i mean, important to me. but not really too you. it’s usually the same for everyone, right? family. friends. food. FFF. yep.

well. all those black friday ads are taking up television time. gosh. who’s going to wake up at 4am to go shopping? ..ohyea. me. lol. sykes.

i’m waking up at 9 tomorrow. and bussing at 9;30 to get downtown to meet up with al byron and alex at 10:30. i wonder what we’re going to do. i mean, it’s not like i have any money. god, with my checking acct and what i have in cash, i have less than $100. *sigh. maybe i’ll mooch… rofl.

i got a sizzlin’ perm. but the lady effed it up. it was all nice and curly and then as the day went on, it started like…losing oomph. so now it’s like bushy hair. seriously. so now (ugh!) i have to go back tomorrow and demand that she redo it cuz it’s only been like one day since i got it. and like, it’s not curly anymore and i still haven’t taken a shower. so that means that when i take a shower, it’ll probably straighten all out. i mean, what the eff? do it right the first time. and i paid fifty bucks (fourty five + tip) dollars for it too. i practically had a heart attack when i handed over the money ><  pictureeeees!

i took a shower, and my hair is back to being curly. “mom, it’s curly!” “it’s going to straighten out when it dries. we’ll get it redone sometime”. they better re-do it right.

this weekend, i hella baked. my mom’s good friend cam eover and taught me how to. she’s a super amazing baker and use to make my birthday cakes for me when i was younger (4, 5, 6). they’re better than all thsoe toher store bought cakes because they’re just the right sweetness. so yea, she came over and we made two cakes! i mean, i’d love to make hella cake and get hella good. but the thing is, there’s no one to eat them all. i’m not much of a pastry eater. neither is my family. but if i made them and gave them away, my parents would just get pissed because it’s a waste of money. so…dilemma? and i ned one of those nice cake mixer thingys. but they cost upwards of $100. and i’m not sure if i wanna invest that much into something i’m not sure is going to be a huge hobby of mine? more of a mere interest. anyways, i made a regualr pound cake. and this sexy [the cell phone picture is horrible. cuz it was nighttime and the light in my house makes everything look ugly. so sorry, i have no pictures of it] lemon layered merigue cake. it’s like super good, and actually they’re like, only one slice left cuz everyone ate it. even my dad had some [which is a huge big deal, cuz daddy dearest does NOT eat sweets]. but man oh man, i didn’t burn anything. yay!

 

it’s really nice looking in real life. i guess we’re having cake for dessert everyday this week =) maybe chocolate cheesecake this weekend. hell yes.

these two days have be freakin’ amazing.

seriously. the sun has finally to take some Prozac and freaking show up at the party. And it was roccccccccking! I totally even skipped two classes on Friday just because it was so so nice to be bathing in gorgeousness at the park [with good company of course] and just soakin’ in some good ol’ vitamin D. The only downside to Friday was my chemistry test but what can I do about it. Que sera sera. It’s in the past, must look forward to the future! BUt yea, other than that. Great day. And the store was extra busy too which means profits go up which means parents happier which means less stuff to nag me about. Win-win situation.

Today I woke up at 6:30am and headed down to Tacoma for a Dragon Boat Racing Competition thing for my sister’s fiance. All I can say that it was bomb. God, these races are so intense and the team he plays for (Zamboanga) is so damn good. They’re teamwork is exceptional and everyone gets along so easily with their members. The captain is rigid and quite intimidating but he knows how to play the game and off the field, he’s really friendly (not the mention he has the most adorable two little boys ever!). I mainly was a groupie and just hung around and talked to people, played games, ate a lot, cheered a lot, and walked around in the sun alot. A LOT. I’m quite tan/sunburnt now. Like a red brownish color to me. I wore hella short shorts and a boyfriend tank and you can see where the lines end. At least my face “glows” now. haha. And it’s super funny cuz the front of my legs are brownish but the backs are less brown because when I laid out to tan, I hella forgot to flip sides (: Me and my farmer’s tan. But yea. Zambo came into 2nd place. But that’s okay, they just have to do pushups for punishment. Lol. BUt yea, I’m super happy right now. I even did a little big of pick-me-up shopping today. I bought GEL PENS. Hell yea. I’m pretty siked. 

Oh and I went to the Museum of Glass today too (because it’s right next to wear they were racing) and it was sooooo eyepopping. Like I just had this huge urge to go up to the glass sculptures and just tip them over. Heh. And we watched them make the glass and blow them and stuff too in this arena-type show and it was cool! And I had corn on the cob and spicy hot dogs and ate hella junk food and got teased at by Mexican guys in pickup trucks and uhm…yea!

Happy happy happy. & I have minimal Accounting homework to do tonight so I’m bouts to hella go play some DDR or read or do something I enjoy doing. Oh taht reminds me…we have some cheesecake ice cream in the freezer. Yessssss. Oh or I could go lay on the hammock and look at the stars cuz OMG the sky is CLEAR!

& TOMORROW 

I’m going to my favorite place in all of Seattle. The Pike Place Market. & maybe the University Ave Street Fair? Is that still going on tomorrow? And apparently some shopping for a new rug in the house.

hello sun.

I have a favorite tree. It has gorgeous small white flowers that bloom in about mid-June. The petals are light and fragile, and they remind me of a lion’s mane; the way they spread out in perfect symmetry and sway with the wind. I remember I use to pick them to make into a wreath but within 5 minutes, they died. I wish that the tree wasn’t over a public sidewalk. Instead, I wish it was like the weeping willow that sits beside the water, overlooking a small bench so I could sit underneath its beauty and do what I love. Read. The flowers smell so strong that when the wind blows, I can smell the blossoms from down the street. The sweet scent is the best thing I’ve ever smelled. Better than bacon [: 

I think it's a jasmine tree, but I wouldn't know. I just know that I walk past it everyday, and everyday, I stop for a bit to peer up at it's branches for the first flower. Today, I spotted a bud. Oh yes. Summer is almost here.

RECAP [5/12]:

Mornings with Shawn are always good. History was boring as always, though we listened to music and it went by pretty quickly. Badminton was good as usual. I beat Jennifer and I’m only two points behind Bao. I blame my sucky playing today on my strapless bra (ugh, should have wore a sports one.) and having no socks so I had grossly sweaty feet in my tennis shoes. I ended up playing badminton barefooted, which was fine with me since I prefer to be barefoot for like…everything I do. And it’s interesting because people actually noticed I was gone in badminton since I didn’t go to class on Wednesday and Friday. Then Chemistry where I dreaded getting my test back (woohoo! we didn’t yet!). We’re doing all this memorization crap that I guess mostly common sense but I hate memorization with a passion. Okay, slight exaggeration but I really do. And we have a test on it Friday too! Ugh, I’m going to fail that class. Maybe I should switch my major…

and NOW.

I am reading quite an interesting article on how lip gloss can actually raise the risks of getting skin cancer. Well, with beauty comes risks I guess. Or however that saying goes o__O

today is a very nice day. it was/is/slightly/occasionally sunny.

there is a lot of new stuff i saw today so i wanted to make a list!

New things i love…

1) iGoogle and their themes. It’s pretty creative how google is aiming to be your home page and offer up daily information instead of just plain old search engine. But then again, it’s pretty much a Yahoo copycat. But Yahoo’s going downhill because of Google..so.. =(

2) The Capitol Hill branch of Seattle Public Libraries. I think I could sit in that place forever and just read. It’s so relaxing and they have so many nooks and crannies where you can crawl up with book. Euphoria x81374894. And like it’s mainly windows as walls with natural light coming in just the Central library, only in this case you see vines and plants and greenery instead of the backside of many office buildings like you would downtown.

3) The painting/portrait/portrait sale down in the Atrium of SCCC. There’s SO many original posters of movies and actors. And of course you’ve got the replicas of famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa and stuff. But there’s definitely like e posters that I absolutely fell. in. love. with. But I totally can’t afford 23 dollars on a poster (which is how much the one I love most costs) :[ Can I just borrow them for a few years to hang in my room? >< 

4) Cocoa cookies. At least that’s what I think they’re called. I don’t have the package with me but basically, they’re thin little rectangular cookies with cocoa powder in them. They’re asian so they aren’t like…crazy sweet like American stuff (*coughoreoscoughchipsahoycough*). & they’re soooo good. Yep. Asians make the best food xP

5) How WordPress automatically saves every few seconds. Thank GOD for this. Because just like 2 minutes ago, my browser “encountered an error and had to close”. And I was like AHHH FRICK cause I wrote a lot. Luckily, WordPress is smart. Yay!

6) Sitting under the sun. Okay, maybe not a “new” love but with this odd weather, it was amazing that I got to do this for a bit today so I was able to “rediscover” the feeling [:
